Project Description
A parking place management solution based on LoRa sensors that detect free parking spots and which uses a physical lock to ensure the reservation of the spot.
Users book their places using a mobile app, which also lets them know if there are any available spots in desired areas. Drivers can book a parking place and pay at the same time, then unlock the spot when they arrive at the location.
Technical Description
- Embedded LoRa sensors that report the status of the location via Internet-connected LoRa gateway
- Backend application that aggregates all data from parking spots in a MySQL database and sends commands to lock/unlock parking place
- Mobile application for end-user interface
